The brief

What they came to us with.

Recover Right — an Adelaide recovery, movement and performance studio — was running bookings on a Wix site with an embedded MindBody widget, plus a separate MindBody booking app. The systems didn’t talk to each other, and the studio didn’t own its own booking experience.

How we thought about it.

Rather than another templated widget, we rebuilt the studio’s web presence as a custom site that owns the booking experience end-to-end — integrated directly with the practice-management platform so the class timetable, availability and bookings stay in sync, with the studio in control of the experience.

What we made.

A new custom website (off Wix) with a bespoke, mobile-friendly class-booking experience integrated with Pabau via its API. The classes page pulls the live timetable straight from Pabau, shows how many spots remain in real time, and lets members book directly into a class — all under Recover Right’s own brand. Reliable transactional email handles booking confirmations, and the separate MindBody app was retired.

The outcome

Where it landed.

Members now book on any device from Recover Right’s own branded site, with the class timetable and capacity live from Pabau — one platform, under the studio’s own brand. The studio consolidated onto a system it controls and retired the separate MindBody booking app.

The integration

Booking, live from Pabau.

The studio runs its classes and clients in Pabau. Rather than drop in another third-party widget, we built a custom API integration with Pabau — so the website is the booking experience. The class timetable, live availability and bookings all flow between the site and Pabau automatically, under Recover Right’s own brand.

Live timetable

The weekly class schedule is pulled straight from Pabau. Staff add or change a class in Pabau and the website reflects it — there is no second calendar to keep in sync.

Real-time capacity

Every class shows how many spots remain, live. As a class fills in Pabau, the availability on the site updates with it — members always see the true picture.

Book straight into class

Members book their spot directly from the studio’s own site and the booking flows back into Pabau — no redirect to a third-party portal, no separate app to download.

Confirmations, handled

Reliable transactional email sends booking confirmations, so members always have a clear record of the class, time and instructor they’ve booked.

One source of truth

Pabau stays the single system of record for classes, clients and bookings. The website reads from it and writes to it, so the studio manages everything in one place.

One platform they control

Bookings now run on the studio’s own site through Pabau, rather than a separate third-party booking app — one system the studio controls, and one less subscription to run.
